  • Replenish Supply Chain is a solutions-focused company, inspired by years of experience navigating the complexities and interdependencies required to make supply chains run smoothly. In a world that is constantly changing, creating systems that support agility in the face of the unexpected is critical for supply chain success.

    This company has been a long-time vision of mine as I continue to witness the growing demand for highly experienced talent to tackle big challenges. Often, it’s difficult to find the necessary bandwidth or expertise within your own team when you're already managing critical day-to-day operations.

  • My journey began with a B.S. in Supply Chain and Production Operations from Bowling Green State University (BGSU), one of the top-ranked programs in the nation. Just as the importance of supply chain strategy was gaining prominence in companies, I was selected by Parker Hannifin's executive supply chain team for their management training program. This opportunity allowed me to work at various sites and gain experience across multiple aspects of the supply chain.

    I later transitioned to Parker’s O-ring Division in Lexington, KY, where I was fortunate to have managers who recognized my potential, mentored me, and provided incredible opportunities to make a significant impact. My roles included developing supplier relations, establishing a trade compliance program, and project managing a lean warehouse remodel. During this time, I also pursued my MBA at Eastern Kentucky University, graduating in 2011.

    A pivotal moment in my career came when a colleague from Parker’s Engineered Polymer Systems Division in Salt Lake City offered me an exciting opportunity: “Hello, Kristin! Would you like to move to the mountains? We have a position with your name on it.”

    Salt Lake City offered not only an incredible lifestyle with skiing, trail running, and mountain biking but also a new level of professional experience. As a Commodity Manager, I was awarded the top honor for saving $10M (50%) by leveraging critical supplier spend and implementing a dual sourcing strategy for a key commodity, PTFE. I also led our materials and distribution strategy, overseeing a lean process remodel and a facility move that significantly improved production and packaging efficiency.

    My desire to work in the outdoor industry led me to Petzl America as Supply Chain Director, where I was the supply chain lead of a complete ERP/WMS system conversion. I also reduced freight costs through carrier negotiations, initiated a formal trade compliance program, enhanced forecast management processes, and implemented statistical inventory management methods.

    After the ERP/WMS implementation at Petzl, I transitioned to the medical device industry, where I found a true passion and connection. As Sr. Global Supply Chain Manager at Clinical Innovations, LLC, I worked with the leadership team to prepare the company for acquisition. This included optimizing team roles, creating a material handling process, implementing inventory locations, statistically analyzing purchasing triggers and safety stock levels, and updating our MRP accordingly. Following the successful acquisition by Laborie Medical Technologies, I took on a project role as Supply Network Optimization Manager and later Program Manager of Logistics and Trade Compliance.

    During this time, I led key initiatives, including:

    • Logistics Cost Reduction: Achieved over $6M in logistics cost savings by creating a process to analyze spend, implementing a TMS, streamlining freight mode and carrier selection, and building strong relationships with carriers.

    • Trade Compliance: Developed a robust Trade Compliance Program, recovering $1.2M in duty exemptions, establishing a reliable record-keeping system, creating a detailed classification matrix and participating in a special brokerage program.

    • SAP ERP/WMS Center of Excellence Leadership: Provided supply chain leadership for an upcoming SAP ERP/WMS project.

    • Material Handling Optimization: Redesigned the material handling process, introducing kanban and inventory signals that significantly improved accuracy and efficiency.

    • Warehouse Relocation: Project manager of critical inventory movements during a complex warehouse relocation.

    • In recognition of these contributions, I was awarded the top company honor in 2023.
